NARTTU LIVE (työnimi)
feministinen monitoimiareena

Täsmäteatteri
An empty bussiness space in Tampere bus station

8.-28.1.2022,
11 nights 5 of which were sold out.

The show was supposed to be the Tampere's first immersive performance ever, but because of covid restrictions it became an immersive pop up museum instead ;) The show was probably the only theater production of southern Finland that was open for audience in January 22.

The working group included women, non-binary people and a trans man. They were from different fields of art; circus, dance, drag, burlesque, theater, music, fine arts and feminist activism.

The project was a pilot for VÄLITILA-model. In the model city of Tampere offers empty spaces that are temporarily empty, for artists to use. The concept of  VÄLITILA is created by me.

The show was supported by the finnis cultural foundation (Suomen kulttuurirahasto).

"Valtavimman vaikutuksen kuitenkin jättää Narttu Liven raaka hyväntahtoisuus. --Lempeys on radikaalia. Kunnioitetuksi tuleminen on surullisen outoa.
- Eli Harju, Kulttuuritoimitus, 11.1.2022

Saari Residency, Kone Foundation, Mynämäki

1/2021-5/2022
Opening 20th May 2022

Community art project with over 100 participants from Mynämäki.
Approximately 50 spaces that are turned in to art. The house is going to be dismantled in the future, so the artists can "destroy" the space with art from floor to sealing. Small communities (families, friends, school classes, etc) were given their own rooms, so peple can work covid safely simultaneously.

My own room is covered with thousands of pink post-it notes (in the photo).

★★★★
"I liked the show so very much. Its aesthetics, skill and peculiarity.  --  Now it's finally proven, that our city is also other things than icehokey, sausage and hot women. Thank you! This is how I would like to have my city of Tampere in the future!"

"Täsmäteatteri's Uittovoima is better art than David Lynch's Twin Peaks -- this performance is cast iron!"
