"Mutta vaikka IRTIKYTKENTÄ-esityksen pääosassa on hevonen, yleisön edessä ei röyhistele tahdikas, kehää kiertävä sirkusori, vaan näyttämölle kehkeytyy posketon, ja hiukan haikeakin soppa" - Emma Vainio, Helsingin Sanomat

UNHOLA –

unforgettable memories

Premiere 22.7.2015 (20 shows)
Koukkuniemen kesäteatteri (Täsmäteatteri's pop up summer theatre)
Theater piece, where the stories were collected from elderly living in Koukkuniemi old folk's home. The piece was performed at the shore of Koukkuniemi and performed so that ordinary public and people living in the old folk's home could both come to see it as equals. The youth memories of the elderly were recreated by young amateur actors.
After the show the actors hold "Memory cafe" with stops where audience could participate in 50's style actions.

It is dubious to fall in love with a performance so much that the quality of it positively makes me cry and my mind is only full of praises, but no blames at all. On the other hand it is awkward that I can't figure out words that would be panegyric enough to describe the piece.
